Lindsay is a brave and courageous young woman who witnessed a horrific attack and intervened to save the woman's life. The victim was being attacked and stabbed by her ex boyfriend. Lindsay was nearby and heard the screams, so she ran over to help and called the police.
Lindsay's heroic actions saved the woman's life. She and the victim have become close, and keep in touch regularly.
Unfortunately, Lindsay is now beginning to experience the warning signs of abuse within her own home. She wants to take her young daughter and escape before it becomes any worse, but she has no vehicle.
Catherine, once the victim, is now her advocate. Through her employer who is one of our partners, she has referred and personally introduced Lindsay to Wheels of Success, who has already begun the search for a safe and reliable vehicle for Lindsay and her daughter. Hopefully she will not be waiting long for her Wheels vehicle.
