Rebecca left everything behind in California to find safety for her and her 2 teenage children, one who has severe health problems. She drove to Clearwater, Fl in an old 1995 Mercury Tracer with close to 200,000 miles that died when she arrived.

Thankfully, she's been able to stay with her mother while looking for work, which she has since found.

But in order to get to her job, she needed a vehicle, as she was spending all of her money on UBER to get back and forth to work.

With funding provided by Raymond James Bank through our Build-A-Car Program, Wheels was able to provide a vehicle. Rebecca was presented with her low mileage, 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora at the Raymond James corporate offices in Clearwater.

It was a most memorable day for Rebecca and the employees of Raymond James Bank who got to see firsthand the great work their employer does for the community and be a part of it.

The funding to "Build-A-Car" was provided by Raymond James Bank, a Wheels partner, facilitated through our Board member, Noble Fowler. Thank you to the Raymond James Bank team for making it such a special day for all of us.
