Brandon is a true American hero. He is a husband, father of a four year old, and as an infantryman with the US Army, served four tours on the front lines in Iraq. In honor of his service, the US Army has awarded him with its highest honors, decorations and medals for bravery and valor.
However, the physical toll of four years of combat has left Brandon partially deaf, and in need of double knee replacements. He also came home from his final tour with cancer, and severe PTSD.
Brandon is on the road to recovery and was referred to Wheels by the Veterans Administration, where he is not only receiving the care he needs, but had been offered a job to help other veterans.
Brandon received his "new to him" 2004 Lexus at the very end of June in honor of July 4th our Independence day and his. His wife is now able to work, his son can go to Day Care, and he is doing great in his new job. He has also decided to "pay it forward", as one of Wheels newest and most enthusiastic volunteers.
