TAMPA, FL (December 17, 2013) –GTE Financial is partnering with Wheels of Success again to grant the Christmas wish of a working single-mother, caring for her sick child.
Karen’s daughter was born with Gastroschisis - a congenital birth defect of the abdomen. She was by her daughter’s side through 2 surgeries over the first month and a half of her life, but as her daughter began to recover, Karen’s car gave out and her ability to support herself and her new family was threatened. GTE Financial and Wheels of Success will help bring stability back to their lives by getting them back on the road this holiday. The vehicle is one of 12 cars Wheels of Success is presenting to working families in the Bay area as a part of its ’12 Cars of Christmas’ campaign.
GTE Financial CEO & President Joe Brancucci will make the special presentation to Kelly at their corporate headquarters on Tuesday, December 17, at 10:00 a.m. at 711 E. Henderson Avenue, Tampa, FL 33602.
GTE Financial has committed to sponsoring a car every quarter. The Tampa financial institution is working with Wheels of Success on a larger partnership, and an announcement is expected in January on a substantial effort to help even more working families in our community stay self-sufficient and find success.
